Chapter Five: The Snack Trailer "Good morning, James," said a short and pretty blonde with short hair who was standing in front of him when he got inside the snack trailer. She was holding a box of cookies in her hand. "How'd you sleep?" Al recognized her immediately. "Good morning, Michelle. I didn't sleep that much since I was here late last night, but I did sleep solid." Michelle Williams, Al remembered from his research last night, portrayed Jen Lindley on the show. Al noticed that Michelle was snacking on her favorite cookies for breakfast. "Didja see Kevin this morning? He told me he has this strange feeling that something is different around here, but he hasn't been able to figure out what it is yet," Michelle said. It must be me, Al reasoned, but how could Kevin Williamson sense that he was not James Van Der Beek? "Um, I can't seem to find my usual breakfast," Al said. "Do you know where it is, Michelle?" She reached over to the small refrigerator in front of Al and pulled out a container of cream cheese and a bottle of apple cider. She closed the refrigerator door and picked up a package of english muffins that was on the table next to her. "Breakfast is served. If it were any closer to you, James, it would bite you," Michelle said as she handed Al the food that had been right under his nose the whole time. "Oh...thanks," Al fumbled in response. "A feast fit for a king. And, James, that is still the weirdest combination of food I've ever seen anyone have for breakfast," Michelle said as she was leaving. "Just don't tell you-know-who I ate the last of his Krispy Kreme doughnuts, huh?" --END OF CHAPTER FIVE-- |
