Chapter 20: Ali Larter's Secret
Although Ali Larter does not appear in my story, to keep anyone from stealing my idea, I have replaced the real guest star with Ali Larter. After you read this chapter, you may be able to figure out who the guest star is anyway.
Al and Ali Larter sat down not far from the snack trailer. There were other cast and crew members nearby. Al wanted to have a private conversation with Ali so he tried to distance himself from the others.
"You know, I wish we had a bigger selection of food for breakfast, but we do what we can with what we are given," Al said as they sat down.
"The first time I was here, someone on the crew told me that there was a catering service here for breakfast that served waffles. That's my favorite breakfast! However, everytime I look, I can't find any waffles anywhere," Ali said.
"But now you're braving the unknown with the crap I eat for breakfast," Al said with a touch of sarcasm. He handed her an english muffin sandwich and opened her bottle of apple cider for her.
Ali nodded. She understood his sarcasm, but did not find it all that amusing. She paused for a moment, then she asked, "Do you want to know a little about me?"
Starting the day in high gear, Al thought. He wondered if this was going to be too much information too soon. On the other hand, Al definitely was curious. "Okay. Just don't make it sound like a job interview," Al said.
Ali nodded. "Well, how's this? I like guys with scars."
"Really? That's interesting," Al replied. "Why is that?"
"Because a scar means that the guy has a story behind it," Ali said.
"So, you like dangerous guys?" Al asked.
"Kind of," Ali replied after she took a sip from her apple cider bottle. "Would you like to know a secret about me?"
